On Friday 2nd May, in glorious weather, our unstoppable team of happy hikers got their boots on once more, picking up where they left off in Bristol last February.
This year’s KMMM Walk followed a winding and scenic route through the sunny Gloucestershire Cotswolds, starting in Stroud. The first day ended at Painswick RFC, with a warm west country welcome waiting for us.
Day two saw us head further west, taking in Cheeserollers’ Hill, on the way to our final destination of Cheltenham.
The focal point of this year’s walk was again a grand fundraising fixture – on Sunday 4th May our Ratana Marauders took on My Name’s Doddie’5 MND Barbarians at Hartpury Stadium.
Once again a magnificent family day out was enjoyed by all, with many celebrated rugby stars taking part, and plenty of entertainment and fundraising.
