There’s a place for everyone in rugby. All our initiatives will be wholly inclusive. Mental and physical wellbeing will be central to all our programmes.
Rugby celebrates diversity and multiculturalism. Our aim is to help young people develop a greater understanding of each other by sharing life experience through rugby. A focus on friendship, trust and understanding will inform and shape our approach.
The Foundation believes in the principles and benefits of team sport: Selfless commitment to a team, rewarding on and off the field. The enjoyment of all aspects of rugby, improving health, fitness and life skills. Most importantly, friendship and fun.
Rugby is a physical sport. We want young people to appreciate the principles of honesty and fairness, and to understand why rules help uphold values, not only in sport but in our daily lives.
Fair play and integrity underpin the game of rugby. We promote its principles, treating teammates, opponents and officials with respect, and showing humility in victory and defeat.
